Merry Christmas

Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas for 2006 and happy new year in 2007!

Christmas Dance Recital

Allison followed up her television debut with a full dance recital. Her class had 3 different dances to do, and each dance was different enough keep it interesting. They began with a fun and festive number set to "Let It Snow", which Allison now refers to as "her song". That was followed by a more traditional ballet style dance set to "Away in a Manger". (see picture) And lastly, they finished it up with the "Hard Knock Life" song from the broadway musical of Annie.

Allison (as well as the other girls) did a wonderful job throughout, and she seemed to really enjoy performing in front of a crowd. Amber was in attendance as well, and was definitely itching to get out on the dance floor too. Maybe next year.

Atwater Christmas Parade

The town of Atwater selected Grandma Georgia to be the Grand Marshall for the Christmas parade, but the kids got the big treat of riding along with her in the convertible. Did I mention it was freezing? That didn't stop Allison from perfecting her 'princess wave'.
